DMR Repeater On Air Serving Roswell Area

Nathan Babcock, (W5JXT), of Roswell, announced today that a new digital repeater bearing his call sign is up and on the air and ready for use. The DMR Hytera RD982i operates at 444.950 MHz with a standard positive 5M offset and utilizes color code 1 and time slot 1. Licensed hams wishing to use the repeater must register for an ID at https://www.radioid.net/#!.

Nathan dropped by the PVARC headquarters following VE testing on Saturday to demonstrate the repeater using his Anytone handheld.
