W5JXT Adds Second DMR Repeater to Region

Nathan Babcock, owner and licensee of DMR repeater 310489, announced today that the Hytera RD982 repeater, which has been in service east of Roswell since it's inception in January of this year, has been replaced with a Motorola XPR8400. Nathan believes the Hytera will better serve the need in it's new, future home on Buck Mountain. The Hytera machine will carry it's ID number 310489 to the new location on Buck and the Motorola machine east of Roswell bears the ID number 311369. The Buck Mountain repeater will transmit on 444.400 MHz with a standard 5 MHz offset and can be accessed on Color Code 1. Both repeaters utilize the Brandmeister network.
